Hanyun Wang is currently an associate professor with the School of Surveying and Mapping, Information Engineering University, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from National University of Defense Technology in 2015. He was a visiting Ph.D. student at Xiamen University from 2011 to 2014. He has authored over 50 articles in journals and conferences, such as IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (IEEE TPAMI), IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (IEEE TGRS), IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems (IEEE TITS), ACM Computing Surveys (CSUR), IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters (IEEE GRSL), ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS Journal P&RS), International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation (JAG), and IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR). His research interests include 3D computer vision, especially on point cloud registration, 3D object detection and scene understanding. He also served as reviewers for many journals, such as IEEE TGRS, IEEE TITS, IEEE J-STARS, IEEE GRSL, ISPRS Journal P&RS, JAG, IET Image Processing, and IET Computer Vision.
